beethoven virus [ korean drama , 2008]
Beethoven Virus (Korean: 베토벤 바이러스) is a 2008 MBC’s TV drama in Korea. This show drew attention for being the first drama to depict the lives of classical musicians and orchestra in Korea.With high expectations, the press conference prior to the regular televising surprised fans with a concert complete with a full orchestra. Kim Myung-min, who plays the talented yet difficult maestro Kang, actually conducted Ennio Morricone's Gabriel's Oboe and Brahms' Hungarian Dances with the orchestra in front of reporters and fans who came to the venue. Famed pianist Lim Dong-hyek also offered his tunes. Lim made a special appearance as himself in the drama. There were made another cameo appearance by Richard Yongjae O`Neil (a popular violist) and few more famous musicians

Beethoven Virus is perhaps the one of a kind drama that would take a lot to courage to film. As in to say, the idea of seeing a lot of muscians play is not a really common idea that we might expect when we switch on the televison. Well, in my case, the computer then. With many actors that does not really know how to play, it seriously shocked me. The news of them playing live in the press conference is totally amazing.....i admit that maybe it is because i like the actress ejiah then i watched it, but after what i have seen for myself i can say that it is a nice story to begin with. no siding here, the starting part is very funny and then the serious part starting coming in with what happened to ru mi,oh man. It is a very inspirational story to me, as i see each and every character overcome their obstacles to be able to do what they do the best- orchestra. i love the ost a lot. classic music seems to have become alive again in this hip pop world.so here i like it. It depicts well how a very talented musician's live,even though they might have been poor,not status enough to become what other people think of being the best of the best, they can become one of the best. there is also another point is that it shows what is behind the very nice instruments and music playing.it is a very nice drama if you like music a lot and conflict.

Plot Summary:
Kyoko, a happy and cheerful 16-year-old girl, spends much of her time at the inn run by her childhood friend Shotaro, learning about housekeeping and hospitality. Shotaro, finding his family's business boring and lusting for excitement, decides to pursue a career in music. Shotaro coaxes Kyoko to leave her life behind and join him in his adventure. Arriving in Tokyo, Kyoko devotes her life to Shotaro, spending no money on herself and offering him whatever she can. Just as Shotaro starts climbing the ladder, however, Kyoko overhears him courting a starlet.
Yes, he has taken advantage of her blind love and simply used her as a free housekeeper from the very beginning. Cruelly betrayed, something inside Kyoko snaps and she vows revenge in a unique way: she will become an idol singer as well. By becoming a big star herself, she hopes to kick him out of the entertainment world, a complex world filled of variety, slander and jealousy. Despite innumerable competitors ready to thwart her at every opportunity, Kyoko gradually finds joy in overcoming hardships, kicking aside all who stand in her way with one word in her mind: REVENGE!

when i started watching this anime is because it was after d.gray man [when it stopped showing on okto] [and i wanted
to know what anime is premiering next] but i fell in love with it after a few episodes although
i think that the “emotions monsters” around her is a little extra but comical though
it is a very revenge kind of drama , never seen this kind before. i must say the kyoko’s feelings must have been so enraged that
she can endure the difficult process of becoming just a LOVE ME section member , i wouldn’t have really wasted my time
just revenging a guy like him who only likes to use people for his own benefits , of course i believe [ watching the spoilers] that there is more to the story especially the corn part
[hush….] okay if u haven watch it , watch it , if u are , continue watching.

Synopsis
Set during the Joseon Dynasty, Ryung acts as a useless gangster in the marketplace by day but at night he is a chivalrous robber who robs corrupt government officials to give to the poor. After each robbery he leaves behind a wooden branch from a plum tree at the site of the robbery to take responsibility for the robbery. The poor citizens only know him as Iljimae. Bong Soon is a hilarious girl with good martial art skills and lives as a swindler. She only loves Ryung and sacrifices her whole life for him. Eun Chae is a government official's daughter and is good in nature and usually helps miserable people. She meets Iljimae once by chance, and their sweet love story begins. However, her love puts Iljimae in a dangerous situation because an Imperial Guard also loves her.

just started watching this show on the channel u 10pm from mon to fri.
the constant advertisement on this show made some of us crazy
but i knew it was a good show from the start ,
with the very nice guy from my girl
[he because more handsome and macho]
and the very interesting plot going on [ who would think of having a thief for the main character?]
i can feel the gunpowder and the love right from the start
and it is a very kungfu drama too..but u may feel that it is very boring @ the beginning
[persevere or else jump episodes]
but the director managed to capture good scenes and edit them very well to the extent that i like the style a lot.
capturing our hearts from the first to the last.
after some research i realised that there will be another similar drama from MBC so
i am not very sure if i am going to watch it or not.
but anyways i totally like the fighting scenes and also the part where all the love kicks in.
though i did felt a little sad and disappointed abt how things ended.
[ for a sec i thought Iljimae died]
and if there is a second season i would be the one queuing to watch it.
got a lot of inspiration from the drama.
